Uno Port Art Films is a not-for-profit organization registered in Japan. UPAF is run with small grants for which we apply annually, as well as ticket sales and huge support from our volunteer staff and participating fellow independent filmmakers. We welcome your donations so that we can keep bringing in amazing films and supporting deserving independent filmmakers from around the world. A heartfelt thank you from the entire UPAF staff.
You can donate to UPAF in the following ways:
1) Use the button below using your credit card or paypal (*please scroll down to read the special note if you are the users of PayPal Japan or PayPal Singapore). While all ticket orders go through our PayPal Japan account linked to UPAF’s organizational bank account in Japan, we had to link the donation button to our PayPal USA account since Japanese law doesn’t allow PayPal Japan members accept non-merchandise personal fund transfers including donations (the only exception is the established NPOs with tax-exemption status. We are not there yet.) Therefore, this button will lead you to our PayPal USA page under “MRex Productions” name. We’d have to ask you to trust us -we will make sure that your donation be used only for UPAF.
