Synopsis: Two Chileans meet in Philadelphia: Daniela is the daughter of a former political prisoner; Tomás is the son of the physician that tortured Daniela’s father. Contemplating revenge, she discloses all about Tomas’ father’s dark past opening a Pandora’s box.

Director’s Bio: Born in Chile in 1972, David grew up in Spain during the Pinochet dictatorship years. David Miranda holds a BA from the University of Chile, and MFA from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he currently resides under a Fulbright Fellowship. David worked as a sound designer for the Latin American film industry, under directors like Francisco Lombardi or Lucrecia Martel. In 2008 he wrote-directed his first short film, Persistence of Memory, featured in the Philadelphia International Film Festival.
